And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
Romans 8:28 AMP
We sang the words, “all things work together for
our good.”
But my thoughts were, God, maybe this one is an
exception.
Sometimes a situation is so hurtful or complicated—or even devastating—we can’t see any possible way for God to turn it into something good. But God is the great recycler. His creativity, power, and resourcefulness go far beyond what our human minds can comprehend. He can take the shattered pieces of any situation and craft something beautiful.
In Jesus Calling, Sarah Young writes:
Focus your energy on
trusting me and thanking me at all times. Nothing is wasted when you walk close
to me. Even your mistakes and sins can be recycled into something good through
my transforming grace. ~Jesus
God doesn’t waste a single thing. Ever. He has a
plan and purpose far beyond what we can see or even imagine. His thoughts and
ways are so much higher than our own. He sees the big picture while we see only
a tiny part. He makes beauty out of ashes and turns messes into masterpieces.
Give the broken pieces of your life to Him. All
your shattered dreams. Disappointments. Losses. Hurts. Fears. He can take
anything the Enemy meant for evil and turn it into something good.
Does God recycle? Absolutely!
