Psalm
18:24 NKJV
The day was straight out of the playbook for
Murphy’s Law—anything that can go wrong will go wrong. And it did.
Have you ever had a day like that, while
desperately wishing for a second chance? A mulligan? A do-over?
In the movie Groundhog Day, Bill Murray
lived the same day over and over until he changed his ways and got things
right. But real life doesn’ give us that opportunity. Each day is a unique,
one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable gift that should never be taken for granted. The
best part is knowing that God is with us. Always.
The Bible tells us “this is the day the
Lord has made.” We only get one chance to live it. What’s past is past, and tomorrow,
as they say, may never come. Today is the gift. What we do with it is up to us.
Commit each day to the Lord. Seek His wisdom and
guidance. Whatever comes your way, do your best, and leave the rest to Him.
Remember … there are no do-overs.
