Unexpected Blessings

Sometimes God sends an unexpected blessing just when we least expect it. After several days of 60 degree temps in February, the heavens opened and God poured out a wonderful surprise. I watched, spellbound, as the snowflakes increased in size and intensity, dancing to the ground in a stunning display of white. It wasn’t long before the trees were coated with the glistening white flakes, arms stretched wide in a command performance of nature’s ballet. The performance was short, but lasted long enough for people to build snowmen, have snowball fights, take dozens of photos, and message their friends. There was no danger on the roadways and no threat for downed trees or power outages—just a lovely way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. God is always ready to send unexpected blessings our way, but we have to pay attention or we might miss the gift He is sending our way today. Are you ready?
